LEARN MOREOur goal is to bring together 100+ awesome teens from Oakville who care about making a difference in our community.
100 Teens Who Care wants to inspire the next generation of philanthropists by providing a forum to help and contribute to local charities.
• Teens commit to 4 meetings per year (1 hour per meeting)
• Teens donate $10 each meeting
• 100 kids x $10 = $1000
• $1000 to charity in 1 hour!!
• 100% of their donation is given to charity
• Charities should be Halton based
• Charities are grassroots and support children’s initiatives
• 3 charities are pre-selected before the meeting
• They speak for 1-2 minutes to give their “pitch”
• Teen members vote for the charity
• Majority rules
• The charity with the most votes will receive the group’s collective donation
• Each teen brings $10 that was earned by himself or herself
• We present about 3 local charities that need donations
• We vote on which charity we’d like to donate to
• 100 teens x $10 = $1000
• $1000 to a charity in 1 hour!
